Umm..

I had to look these up. Turns out they are completely innocent and keep your banana from getting squished in your lunch.

Fuzzy pimp hat

This is vintage baby! I feel like I should get some more models.

Love advice

I keep this in my wallet in case I ever need a quick laugh. Sage advice.

Gel

Yet another item that screams thrift store! Gently used items at a discount price.

Blue Pill

Because who wouldn't want to buy viagra at a thrift store?

Lotus Ware

This is an extremely rare set of bone china. Knowles Taylor and Knowles were known for hotel and restaurant style china dishes. When I was researching this company, it was so interesting. They only managed to make bone china for a few short years. They managed to win many awards though. It was arguably the finest bone china produced in America. Sadly they couldn't keep producing it because it cost so much more than what they made on it. During the firing process only 1 out 12 attempts were successful. They were still using the kilns that were made for their sturdy china. The delicate filigree couldn't hold up. Interesting history from an interesting company. Very early 1900s. ~1904

Awkward Shirt

There was an advertisement on the back for hemorrhoid removal. Everyone should wear shirts like this.

Mardi Gras Mask

I thought it looked super cool.

Teeth

Thank you for this replication of your mouth. I'm sure it will be a hot seller.

Free Sofa

We get junky sofas dumped off all the time. We put them out front for free. This picture is when your free sofa is worth more than your car.

Queen Amidala

I couldn't resist the selfie opportunity.

Upcycled

After looking at the ridiculously over-priced plastic vanity choices, I decided to try making my daughter one with donations. The mirror was $3 and the night stand was $5.

Carpet!

We had a lovely company donate carpet and tile and labor to the thrift store. Donation of the year! Here are a few pictures.

Book

This gives pop-up books a whole new meaning. The disturbed fireman is my favorite.

X-ray

The springs are a little disturbing. Also, who takes a head x-ray with glasses on?

Rest in peace

Poor Scruffy was donated. I was slightly shocked and irreverently amused.

Big behind plaque

This made me laugh so I took a picture. You're welcome!

Wolverine dollar

I found this in the cash register. I was delighted! I quickly took a picture then handed it out as change to spread the joy.

Sweaty Hat

Gross. I can't think of anyone that would want someone else's sweat stained hat. It was crusty too.

Badger badger badger

Cool hat? Honey badger don't care.

Chalk outline

My boss put this towel on the floor by my desk and warned me that is what happened to the last person that asked a question. He ended up buying it to use at the car shows when he took his cars. That should be effective paired with a do not touch sign.

Alcohol dispenser

Nothing better than having a naked boy peeing your alcohol into your glass.

Homemade Shoes

These are kind of cool. They remind me to be thankful I can go buy shoes and I don't have to make them out of whatever is available.

Piggy

So I usually wouldn't post about something like this but I found him in the fall stuff. I concluded that it was there because it is a representation of how we feel after thanksgiving dinner. Mmm pie.

Forgot to post this...

This is a funny compilation of stories about famous people and their senior moments.

Tacky birthday gift

So I gave this as a birthday gift to someone that appreciates my blog. The stylish velvet art had some nice rips in it and the candle was already burned. I thought it was funny. He probably doesn't have me blocked. I also love the butt muscle and OH MY what big paws he has.
