What is better, finding a spider in the donation or this? I'm still internally debating that question. The disturbing thing is they wrapped it up when it was still wet enough to make the paper stick to it. GROSS!
*Conversation about these with my sister. Her - They were gross and jagged looking. Me- I know, if I had to have fake teeth, I would at least ask the dentist to make them beautiful!

Golf Ball Surprise!

I found the following on my desk. I wondered why there was a hole in it and a cut around the middle.



So I opened it and found this!

That was a fun surprise. Then we found a couple more a few days later. I think it must have been a large donation and that is why it took so long for these to show up. They are displayed on a golf tee.

I remember the commercials for this stuff

We tried this stuff out on a fuzzy squirrel bank to see if it works. It stinks! Boss quote, "It makes you high so you don't care if you are bald or not." He always refers to his hair as a cul de sac and that he is working on the roadways in. I had to google how to spell that and I found out it means butt of the sack in French. haha So much funny.



X-large for all your containing needs

I'm sorry for thinking these are funny. I know there are many times that these can be useful for medical problems. They are still funny though, mostly because I was sorting through clothing and didn't expect them.

Acid Trip Nativity

This is a unique idea for a Nativity. Gaudy too. I just can't describe my feelings right now. I took pictures of all the sides of this masterpiece. I threw this away after I took the pictures but knowing my luck, someone from my facebook friend's list is going to want it.

Keeping up appearances

I've never seen a fake tomato plant before. I was thinking of all the possibilities. I want a whole garden full so that it looks like I can grow things, all the time, all year round. The neighbors would be impressed and wonder why you weren't ditching all your excess produce on their front porch.



Hard of Hearing?

I have 4 or 5 volunteers that are hard of hearing. It is funny to listen to them have conversations with each other. It is always hit or miss if the response matches the question. They all thought this pin was hilarious.

Christmas is coming!!

This is just to advertise that we started putting Christmas items out. It's funny because it was still 97 degrees when we started. Most years it kills my Christmas spirit and I can't get rid of the glitter until January.

This is cute though.

When I was young, I threw a rock. This sign reminds me of that traumatic moment in my life. The poor guy has never been the same. It may have helped his brain to function better though.



Donated just in time!

Usually we are given items AFTER events have passed. This time, this breast cancer awareness bracelet was given to us just in time for Breat Cancer awareness month! We also have a donation cash box that the proceeds will go towards a breast cancer fund. In the past it has paid for mammograms for women that can't afford them and it has saved lives! I'm very fortunate to work in such a place that we are able to help so many people. I gave this bracelet to a 14 year old boy and he is wearing it proudly. :)

I think recycling is amazing! We essentially recycle almost everything at the thrift store. We recycle e-waste and and clothing too! Anyway, I thought this little fish was adorable and it looked cute on my mouse pad.

Weird happenings

Something happened to this bottle. Either, the bottle design team dabbled in recreational drugs, or aliens.
Some of the quips we came up with at the store. May go straight to the hips/gut. Well endowed Soda. It looks like like a matronly una-boob.
