"Hunny" Pot

There was even real honey in this pot. You can't tell because of the flash, but I'm holding the whole pot up by the honey dripper. It was crystalized. I think even Winnie the Pooh would have rejected this honey. This was donated to someone who really wanted the pot and was willing to clean it out to get it.

Custom Glasses

Those glasses make your eyes pop! Dave gave me a stapler because he said I looked like the guy from Office Space. These babies work kind of like binoculars without any way to adjust them. They are powerful!



Action Figure

When his pasty face was showing, I seem to recall Darth Vader laying on the ground, gasping like a land-locked fish. That face was horrifying to me as a child. I'm glad they could immortalize it in a plastic, non-biodegradable, action figure.

A Clue?

I was expecting Prof. Plumb in the Library with the Candlestick. This is intriguing and colorful. Sit down in your thinking chair and think - think - think. Only the best treasure clues are written on money! Posh.

Rosy Bud

I'm sorry, I have a thing for hats and this one cracked me up. The title is in reference to the nickname my daughter wants me to give her. Rosy Bud is short for Rosy Bud Thorn. I think it's a great Fairy name. I did have a hard time getting a good angle of this hat, it's hard to see all the petals. The green parts are my favorite haha.



Golf Hazard

It would be nice if we had safety glass for our display cases! My boss found the golf ball donation and decided to make it into a fun display. We had a lot of funny customer comments. They weren't sure why we were golfing in the store.

Taxidermy Terror!

So at work, we like to leave funny things on each other's desks. He's currently wrapped up in a plastic bag, hopefully to kill any cooties. I'll unwrap him before I leave, like a present. Maybe security will encounter him in their rounds tonight!

Feather Hat

One of these days I'll find a new model. For now, you are stuck looking at my face. Vintage hat made of feathers. It was kind of icky putting it on, because it is so old, but it looks cool!

We have your SOLE!

This came from a Hotel that donated all the items in their lost and found. This donation contained items that were TOO gross to be blogged. This was one of the more pleasant items. Just this part of the shoe. It's not even a pair! Honestly, why didn't they throw away their own trash. Some of the trash items should have been deposited in bio-hazard bags.

Predator vs. Prey

Spider egg sacs, desiccated bee and beatle, and spider dripping/droppings? There were 3 more egg sacs inside the lid. It was lovely opening this box that promptly went into the garbage can, after I took a picture.

I was so worried but now I can rest easier. I wonder how many people DIDN'T read this just because of the title. Aspiring authors, you should use the title "This book IS required" maybe you can get the nervous people to read it just in case.
